Service Description:

I contacted The Bee Hunter on Wednesday, June 17th leaving a voicemail message. Jim got back to me within minutes. I told him in my aluminum shed, right above where the 2 sliding doors come together, I noted a wasp nest. Jim advised he would be able to assist me. On Thursday 6/18 he texted me in the evening advising he would be out Friday, 6/19. When Jim arrived he not only found the nest I had called him about, but there were 2 more inside the shed, and he noted one under my porch awning!! He took care of ALL the nests, as well as treated my whole shed, giving a warranty that is good until the end of the year!!!

I contacted Jim the Bee Hunter for a suspected bee/yellow jacket nesting area underneath the ceiling of my ouside porch deck. He promptly returned my call, kept me posted of when he could arrive, and updated me repeatedly with ETA updates. We had a hornet\'s nest the size of a softball in a bush on our property. It was near the sidewalk where everyone walks and we didn\'t want anyone to get stung, so we called Jim, The Bee Hunter. When Jim arrived, he donned his bee protection suit, then he sprayed the nest, then cut the hive from the bush, then he sprayed around the area where the hornets were to keep them from rebuilding.

We first had Jim come our 3 years ago. We had a big problem with carpenter bees on our back patio.
He and his assistant spent a lot of time repairing the damage done in the cedar. After that application, the bees were gone. They would still come back and hover, but would not touch the wood. Now we rarely see them.

I found a yellow jacket nest in my linen closet, in my bedroom. Absolutely disgusting and disturbing!! I called Jim and left him a message. He called me back the next day. I had an issue on the second floor bathroom of one of my properties which had been vacant for quite some time. I did not know the extent until bees (yellow jackets) were somehow entering the bathroom.
I called the Bee Hunter from an add on the internet and he actually responded within a half- hour.. and then came to the property later that afternoon to access the situation. He was meticulous in keeping contact with me as to the time he would be available and arrive…in other words “no guessing or waiting!” and in the course of the next few days he followed through on “EVERYTHING” that he said.
I really liked his presence and professionalism and felt instinctively that this was a contractor I could trust. He is a local company with a nice neat truck, a very professional manner and appearance and he kindly and safely wore a mask. He gave me a day that he would be out and texted me that day so that I knew exactly when he was coming. The price was “very” fair considering the second-floor access was difficult because of the condition of the premises and the fact that he had to reach outside the 2nd floor window which to me looked pretty scary.
And just to add, he worked “very neatly” so ladies who are worried about contractors who are sometimes not so neat to most times down-right messy when entering your home…this is someone who has all those bases neatly covered!
An now I am happy that my bees are in a better place!

I heard a ticking noise in the bedroom wall and ceiling. When I looked outside I saw some bees flying around the gutter outside that room. I called The Bee Hunter and he got right back to me. Jim came the next day with Eric, his helper. He checked out the bees and said they were yellow jackets. He checked the walls inside and located the nest. I made a frantic call one evening to Jim after realizing that I had 3 yellow jacket nests around my house—one in the yard, one in the wall next to the front door that reached to the second floor, and one inside the walls on the third floor. We had a soccer ball sized hornet nest hanging from the soffit under our gutter and we wanted it gone. After a Google search, I chose Jim “The Bee Hunter” because of his 30+ years of experience removing bees and the abundance of A+ reviews he has received. When he arrived, he was a super nice guy and explained the entire process and all the steps he would take in advance. Then he sat down on the floor of our front porch where our youngest pup immediately got into his lap and stayed there. I think she would have gone home with him. After spending time with her, he went to work, put on his bee suit and climbed onto the porch roof where he sprayed and removed the nest within 20 minutes. He then applied another spray that would prevent the hornets from building a new nest on the same spot. Quick and very professional job!! Yellow jackets formed a nest under our siding and inside our walls. He was able to locate the placing of the nest within the wall prior to cutting through the drywall (mitigating damage). He was able to kill the yellow jackets, remove eggs and larvae, then reseal the drywall.

We thought we had a large bees nest behind our siding on the back of our house. The area was very high up and not easily accessible. The Bee Hunter came and assessed the issue and located the bees nest fairly quickly. It was NOT where we thought it was. It was actually inside the house between the floors. Apparently, bees were coming in through a tiny crack in the mortar between the bricks. He had to drill holes into the ceiling to spray bee killer in there. Then he cut a piece of the ceiling out and removed the actual nest....which was huge! He also cleaned up every bit of dust as well as dead bees. We had lingering bees for a while, and he came back to assess the issue again to make sure that he got all of the nest. He did get all of the nest the first time, but since it was such a large nest it took longer than expected for us to stop seeing bees.

While watering flowers in our courtyard one late afternoon, I obviously disturbed an in-ground yellow jacket nest. The next thing I knew I was stung multiple times The bees pursued me, stinging as I ran some 80 feet from the nest. After some fast quick first aid I instructed my family members to find someone who specializes in bees, hornets, etc. My wife found The Bee Hunter while I was taking Benadryl and scrubbing my stings, I called his number and I got Jim (The Bee Hunter) - not an answering service or a recording.
I told him what happened and he said he was in close proximity to my area and would try to get to my home before dark (Which he did.).
When I showed the nest's location he identified the species and gave a quick background on this type of yellow jacket. He told me what he was going to do, step by step, before he did it.
I then left the area until they were done, for my own safety. At that time he showed me what he had found. The nest was larger than I had even imagined. The yellow jackets had their own Tora Bora installation in there. Jim told me what to expect in the coming week around the nest site. He instructed me to call him if they were buzzing around the nest site after one week. They weren't.
Jim showed up in a very professionally maintained vehicle with graphics consistent with his company's identity. I was impressed with him and with his assistant who looked like he just graduated from Princeton.

We were set to put up new drywall in our hallway when we had yellow jackets start appearing a few at a time in our house daily. We did not know where they were coming from. In the past, he has also successfully removed hives from the wall of the home and a hole in the ground. These hives were really big and, after seeing them, it was clear to me that a can of spray from the local hardware store would never do the trick. It is well worth it to have Jim out and get it done right.

We have used Jim's services EVERY YEAR since 2008 when we had a very unexpected and very frighteningly large invasion of yellow jackets in the wall just above our front door. Jim removed an underground yellow jacket nest behind a retaining wall next to the driveway. It is a single width drive and the hive entrance was at head level on the passenger side if you parked in the driveway-very dangerous. I had tried to kill them with foaming spray twice unsuccessfully, so I called several exterminators and the ONLY one who answered said I needed the Bee Hunter and gave me his number- I called, he answered right away and said he could be there the NEXT day.

We usually have wasps, hornets, yellow jackets and bumble bees. They start making their nest as soon as the temps get warmer, the bee hunter comes and performs a treatment on our house and in no time at all these flying pests are gone.
